You can’t run from your fate. You must choose it.
A mother grieves. Her son loves. His bride compromises.
Blood Wedding, or Bodas de Sangre, is a Spanish tragedy by Federico Garcia Lorca written in 1933. Based on a true story, Blood Wedding is a tale of loss, love and deception, and whether we really choose our fate or whether it is mapped out for us.
Under the hot Spanish sun, passion rages through the characters against a backdrop of farming, vineyards and olive groves. Love, lust and isolation ripple through the relationships and Death is never far away…
